INTRODUCTION HMS NAVIGATORS FROM DWG TRADING
We are Dealer of a High quality American Rudder propeller Navigator system, which are hydraulically driven.These can steer 360 degrees, or 180 degrees or 90 degrees, single or twinn system, where you can change the turning direction from the propeller very fast from forward to reverse.This gives a extremely good manoeuvrability, like a normal rudder propeller, but than faster.
Optional, we can supply these units including a wireless remote control system, to be able to operateThis navigator from any place on board, like in a wheelhouse, a crane cabin or even while walking on deck.
The stem section can be mounted in any required height, with a range of 500 mm. up to 3500 mm. ( long reach version ) from the deck to the centre of the propeller, without any modifications required.
This is a mechanical depth adjusting system.The propeller diameter is approx. 600 mm.
All the units have a stainless steel nozzle.
The bigger Navigators have one engine, with the power divided over two propellers, to be able to keep the draft very low.This makes these navigators suitable for many types of pontoons and barges, and can easily be mounted from a lower pontoon to a higher pontoon, without making modifications.
Also all navigators have a hydraulic tilt system, to be able to lift up the leg very fast, for example to beach the pontoon, or for transport, or do some works on the propeller if necessary.
This makes the navigators also extremely suitable for shallow water operation
The frame is made from galvanized steel, and the canapé with steering stand is complete from aluminium, so maintenance to protect them from corrosion is very little, and the weight will be less.Further the navigators can be split up, to be able to put the engine with power pack below deck if required, also thru hull mounting is possible, or supply only the Thruster and steering system is possible, we can supply including extended electric cables, and on board there have to be mounted some extended hydraulic pipes, these modifications can be done easily, and if required we can support while making these modifications.
The Hp. Range is between 50 and 550 Hp Also its possible to couple up the remote control, so you can operate two or more units with one remote control.
This to increase the total Hp. To for example 1100 Hp. Or 2200 Hp. In total, or more if required.
Delivery time is at the moment approx. 3 to 4 Month’s, depending on moment of order.
We even have one navigator in stock with 125 Hp. ( if not sold )
